Vivian Pérez is a Cuban pianist, composer and bandleader whose music is driven by one simple mission: to bring light, joy and richness of Afro-Cuban culture to audiences around the world.

For Vivian, "Luz" has always meant more than a name. It represents the power of music to inspire, connect people and bring hope across cultures. That vision became the foundation of Luz D´Habana.

In 2013, Vivian founded her band Luz D'Habana, bringing together an exceptional group of musicians to perform her original compositions. In 2015, the band released its debut album "Luz" and began touring across Central America and the Caribbean.

Blending Afro-Cuban rhythms , jazz improvisation and contemporary influences, Luz D´ Habana creates an energetic and emotionally rich live experience.

In 2020, Vivian began a new chapter by moving to Sweden, carrying with her the rhythms of Cuba and the dream of building bridges between cultures through music. From Sweden, Luz D' Habana continues to share the vibrant spirit of Afro-Cuban music with audiences across Europe. More than concerts, each performance is an invitation to celebrate life, culture and the light that music brings to us all.
